Vivo announced its latest Vivo Y78+ smartphone in China which price starts at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 19,000). The phone carries a curved-edge display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Let’s check its specs details first, the Vivo Y78+ comes with a dual-SIM slot and runs on Android Android 13 with OriginOS 3 out of the box. As for the display, the handset arrives with a 6.78-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 100 percent NTSC color gamut, 1,000nits of peak brightness, and an 8000000:1 contrast ratio. The front panel also has a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

Moving to the SoC, the smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset coupled with Adreno 642L GPU. There’s up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. On the camera front, it gets two cameras on the rear side including a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. There’s also an LED flash on the backside.
For selfies and video calls, the phone has provided an 8MP front sensor. Moreover, it is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone.

The smartphone has been priced at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 19,000) for the base 8GB RAM with 128GB inbuilt storage option. The 8GB RAM with 256GB inbuilt storage model price is set at CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 21,500) and the 12GB RAM with 256GB inbuilt storage model comes at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 23,800).
The Vivo Y78+ will be available in China from April 26. The device has offered three color options – Moon Shadow Black, Warm Sun Gold, and Sky Blue.
